Adult Protcetive Services Program
Adult Protective Services or APS provides counselling and case management services to developmentally challenged adults. Through counselling and advocacy, K3C attempts to increase the quality of life and level of independence of clients. Counsellors also aim to support clients’ families and friends.
APS offers three levels of service:
- Help developmentally challenged adults function as independently as possible.
- Raise awareness in the community about, both the abilities and needs of developmentally challenged adults.
- Facilitate integration and acceptance of developmentally challenged adults in the community.
